Most people driving an RV are driving thru areas they are unfamiliar with so although they may be more vigilant in their driving it can cause more accidents. They may try to change lanes to take an exit and not realize there is a car in their blind spot on the right hand side.     Common causes of RV accidents include: Inexperienced RV drivers – Most people aren't driving an RV every day. Distracted driving – Driving while distracted (paying attention to anything besides the road) is a MAJOR issue throughout the United States.
